That's right.  Resurrecting this thread.  Read an article on MMORPG about how the game has improved over the last year.  I haven't taken a look at the pay model, but it sounds pretty F2P.

Decent review of some incoming changes coming to ESO based on the recent beta weekend tests.

The NDA was lifted today, and the reviews are lukewarm.  On rails and typical MMO quests were the key points I heard.  And that it didn't offer the same gripping experience of Oblivion and Skyrim.  However, there are reports that preorders are 25% off, including the digital deluxe edition.

The one with the cat.  Everyone wants to be a cat-girl.

It's also a three realm game, which makes me happy in the pants for PvP.  Does anyone have a preference on which realm/group to be?

I really enjoyed it.

A lot of people complained that it wasn't exactly the same as Skyrim but multiplayer.

I didn't go in expecting that, and I was happy with my adventure.  Lots of exploration (once you get past the newbie stuff, of course), boatloads of lore, fun combat (at least early on, I suppose any combat could get boring), and a decent skill system.  I liked that there wasn't any BS about gathering stuff like needing a particular skill or consumable object.  You get your own nodes of everything, loot is instanced per player, etc.

I had a really great time, even running around in the same newbie zone with a hundred other players.

I pre-ordered mine today (along with Thief 4).

Chris liked it.  I'm sure I'll pick it up, at least to give it a try.

I didn't play it, but I'll be picking it up if anyone decides to give it a go.
